Casali Hostel is a community-oriented accommodation where the core values are mutual respect aimed at peaceful coexistence. Entering the property implies full acceptance of these rules, which can be supplemented or modified at any time by management.


1. Guests, responsibility, and minors

  • Organized groups, families, individuals, students, associations, and tourists are welcome.
  • Minors are only allowed under the responsibility of a guardian or chaperone, who is liable for the minor’s behavior and any damages.
  • Group leaders are civilly and criminally liable for any damage caused to third parties or the property during the stay.


2. Bookings, check-in/check-out, and extended stays

  • Bookings can be made via our official website, email, phone, or OTA channels.
  • If you wish to extend your stay, you must inform management by 10:00 AM on your departure day (availability is not guaranteed).
  • If the bed is not vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure, an extra night will be charged.
  • General times:
     • Check-in: from 3:00 PM
     • Check-out: by 11:00 AM
  • You can leave your luggage in our storage room for free on check-in and check-out days (subject to maximum capacity). For the days before or after, it is available for a fee via the Bounce app.


3. Inclusions, exclusions, and cleaning

  • Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
  • Bath towels are not included in the dorms; however, they are included in private double and triple rooms.
  • You can rent a towel for €2 each in the dorms.
  • Upon departure, guests must return rented towels to the reception.


4. Documents, behavior, and respect

  • A valid ID must be shown upon arrival; management may keep it for the time necessary for registration.
  • During the stay, guests must help keep spaces tidy and clean.
  • Rooms and common areas must be left in the same condition as found, except for normal wear.
  • To ensure peace, polite and respectful behavior is required, and noise must be avoided between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.


5. General prohibitions

  • Smoking is strictly forbidden indoors.
  • Eating or drinking (except water) is not allowed in private rooms and dorms.
  • It is forbidden to bring or use electric hotplates in the rooms.
  • Pets are only allowed in private rooms (with prior authorization) and not in shared dorms.


6. Kitchen use

  • The kitchen is available to guests from 7:00 AM to midnight and must be used following hygiene rules.
  • Rules of use

    1. After each use, clean the countertops, stove, sink, tables, and used utensils.
    2. Store food hygienically to avoid contamination and label it (ask reception for labels).
    3. Ensure the stove, oven, and lights are turned off after use.
    4. Promptly report any issues, breakdowns, or anomalies to management.
    5. Dispose of waste in the designated recycling bins.


7. Dorms / beds rules

  • Each dorm has individual lockers for guests.
  • Guests must respect cohabitation rules, privacy, and the use of common spaces.
  • Management is not responsible for damages, theft, or issues caused by the behavior of other guests, nor for unattended items.


9. Luggage storage

  • A luggage storage service is available for early check-ins or late check-outs (subject to capacity).
  • The space is monitored, but guests are responsible for their stored items.


10. Damages, liability, and lost items

  • Any damage to the property, furniture, equipment, or lost keys must be reported and will be assessed by management.
  • The property is not liable for theft or damage to personal items, except those handed over to reception for safekeeping.
  • Complaints must be reported promptly to management.


11. Sustainability, hygiene, and environmental respect

  • The hostel adopts sustainability policies: recycling, energy saving, conscious use of water and electricity.
  • We kindly ask our guests to:

    • Turn off lights and appliances when not needed
    • Close windows if the heating is on
    • Avoid water waste and do not throw non-compostable items in the toilet
    • Report any malfunctions or leaks


12. Hours, services, and emergencies

  • Staff is available 24/7.
  • In case of an after-hours emergency, contact +39 040 2655360 (also via WhatsApp).
  • Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
  • Wi-Fi is free throughout the property; a password is required.
  • Guests must respect quiet hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and the hostel’s internal rules.


13. Bicycles

  • Bringing bicycles inside the hostel is not allowed.
  • The hostel does not have a bike storage room.
  • There are several bike storage facilities near the hostel; ask the reception staff for more information.


14. Final notes

  • Management may modify or supplement the rules, properly notifying guests.
  • Acceptance of these rules is a mandatory condition to stay.
  • In case of damage to the property or violations of these rules, Casali Hostel reserves the right to take necessary measures, which may include:

    • charging for repairs or replacements,
    • demanding immediate eviction of the guest,
    • applying fines,
    • reporting to the authorities.

  • Guests must act responsibly and respect safety and cohabitation rules.
  • These rules ensure a safe, civil, and respectful stay for all guests.
